which it is proposed to remit,

in connection with the suggested grant
of this Concession, to the Northern

to in the recent telegraphic corres-
pondence between the Foreign Office and
His Majesty's Minister at Peking ending
with the telegram from the Foreign Office
No.198 of the 10th of May. The
completion of the Canton-Hankow Railway and
its connection by means of a loopline
with the Canton-Kowloon Railway are,
however, matters of considerable importance
to Hong Kong. Mr. Webb would, there-
fore, be glad, if Mr. Henderson sees
no objection, if His Majesty's Minister
might be requested to urge upon the
